Today I truly grateful for my friend Kathy Bacon. Don’t get me wrong I am grateful for all my friends but today is especially for Kathy. She is such an inspiration and determined to make a difference in the world. I met Kathy about 4 years ago when she was the Executive Director for Dress for Success. They reached out looking for an event planner to join their Events Committee. After learning about the organization I was hooked.
During my time with Dress for Success I volunteered closely with Kathy working on several events for a few years. For as long as I have known her she has a get-it-done attitude also known as - Just Do It! She honestly just wants to make a difference in the world. Every project she is a part of, every person she comes into contact with, everyone minute of everyday she is giving. I am truly grateful for having her in my life and excited to work on Denver Pay It Forward Movement with her.
