Day 107 of Gratefulness: Michael Jackson’s Heal the World Song

I have mixed feelings about Michael Jackson but I will say I love the song Heal the World.  The first time I heard it was during a Super Bowl Halftime show and I fell in love with it.  I recently downloaded it and I love playing the song and soaking in the lyrics.  It has an incredible message that needs to be shared over and over and over again.  It is going to take all of us to Heal this crazy world we live in.

I know Michael Jackson had his ups and downs during his life and there were times that many people felt he was dishonest and not credible for some of the words he stood by.  Many of us have been in that same situation.  Where we say or do one thing on Monday but are the total opposite on Friday.  We are all dealing with our own negative addictions which some would call demands.  When you can become conscious of your thoughts, feelings and actions than you can really make some changes.  But sometimes we just stuck on the hamster wheel, it often seems easier even though it does not serve us and in the long-run hurts us.

Sometimes I recognize that I am in a negative state and I struggle to get out of it and there are many things I do to work my way out of it.  I might take a walk, go grab a cup of coffee and just get around other people, call a friend, watch a funny clip on YouTube or listen to a great piece of music with inspiring lyrics.  Heal the World is one of those songs that really helps me turn my situation around and stay positive, be happy and think & feel love.  Today I appreciate that song for helping me turn things around.
