Today I entered the world of Build-A-Bear. I always walked by the store in judgment as I felt like it was another commercialized company to make kids want more and more stuff, which partly I still feel that way. But today I made a bear (really a puppy) for a kid with hearing aids. Each of the bears we made will be provided a set of hearing aids so that the kids feel like the bears are just like them. Now that is sweet. I was happy to put my time, energy and love into this little bear that is going to put a smile on a child’s face.
