Day 48 of Gratefulness: Technology

As much as technology can be a nuisance and keep you feeling like you are never turned off it is also amazing how it can bring you together. Skype and facetime can provide a visual interaction. I get to experience family and friends opening gifts I gave them a few thousand miles away. I get to catch with friends all over the world and hear their beautiful voices that sing to my heart. Facebook can keep you up to date on birthdays, engagements, weddings and babies and sometimes…useless information. There is so much information to connect with- books, movies and music are yours with the click of a button. You can watch a movement happen right in front of your eyes in minutes. It can be truly amazing as we connect with people all over the world and we can take action, make a new friend and be educated. I love how I can practically reach out and touch someone. Technology just blows me away and I just eat it up.
